💚💙💛❤️ Learning about our Zones of Regulation!
Today we have been learning all about the Zones of Regulation and exploring how different feelings can make us feel like we are in different zones. We then got creative and decorated our own peg dolls, choosing colours and designs to represent the zone we were learning about.
We were proud to place our peg dolls in the correct zone and talk about our feelings along the way.

We hope all of our families have had a wonderful summer break!

We hope you’ve made lots of lovely memories over the holidays and are enjoying the final few days of the break and the Bank Holiday weekend. 💛

A little reminder that Tuesday and Wednesday are INSET days, so school will be closed to pupils while our staff team prepare for the new school year.

We look forward to welcoming all of our pupils back to school on Thursday! We can’t wait to see everyone and hear all about their summer adventures.

A huge thank you to all of our families who joined us at our Summer Fayre earlier this week. It was lovely to see so many of you enjoying the afternoon and celebrating another fantastic year at Newstead and Newstead Hunningley.

Thank you for your continued support throughout the year. We truly value working in partnership with you to help your children thrive.

We wish all of our pupils and families a safe, happy and relaxing summer holiday. A special good luck to our wonderful Year 6 leavers as they begin their next adventure—we know you'll do amazing things!

Just a reminder that our Summer Fayre is taking place on Monday 13th July at 1.30pm.

We’d love to see as many of our families as possible for an afternoon of fun! There will be refreshments, games, and lots of exciting summer activities for everyone to enjoy.

Tonight we are incredibly proud that our Lead Teacher, Stacey, is representing our school at the Unique Educator Awards.

This nomination is a wonderful recognition of Stacey’s dedication, passion and commitment to ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to thrive.

Whatever the outcome this evening, Stacey is already a winner in our eyes. We wish her the very best of luck and hope she has a fantastic evening celebrating alongside other inspirational educators.

Today our pupils enjoyed a special visit from the ice cream van, bringing lots of smiles and a delicious treat to brighten the day. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying an ice cream together.
