Today our pupils enjoyed a special visit from the ice cream van, bringing lots of smiles and a delicious treat to brighten the day. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying an ice cream together.

What a wonderful week of literacy in Hive 3! ✨📚
This week, we have been exploring instructions and learning all about their important features. We started by reading different sets of instructions and identifying the key elements that help us follow them successfully. We then worked hard to put instructions into the correct order before having a go at writing our own.
To finish our learning, we put our instruction-following skills into practice by baking delicious bagels! 🥯👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
We carefully followed each step and were rewarded with some very tasty bagels, which we thoroughly enjoyed eating.
We are so proud of the fantastic effort, teamwork, and enthusiasm shown by everyone in Hive 3 this week. Well done, everyone! 🌟

📖✨ Poetry Week in Literacy ✨📖
We have been exploring the wonderful world of poetry! The children have been identifying rhyming words, spotting them in different poems, and using their creativity to write some fantastic poems of their own.
We have also enjoyed listening to a variety of poems and developing our confidence by performing and reciting poetry aloud. It has been lovely to see the children express themselves, use their voices creatively, and have fun with rhythm and rhyme.
