🌟 Exciting news! 🌟

A new home for learning is on the way — and we can’t wait to welcome you in. Over the coming months, we’ll be working closely with our learners to make sure you feel informed, supported and ready for this exciting new chapter.

Cabinet has approved a £1.5 million investment to create a modern new learning facility for our Employment and Skills service. This exciting move will give people a high‑quality space to grow their skills, build confidence, and boost their job prospects.

The new facility is scheduled to open for learners in September 2026.

We know this may feel like a big change for some of our learners. Over the coming months, we’ll be working closely with you to feel supported and ready for this exciting new chapter.

Through the Proud to Care Hub we have teamed up with Barnsley Hospital to deliver a two week Get Hired in Care course.

This is to support Barnsley Hospital with their recruitment for Care Support Workers.

Apply for live jobs whilst on the course, this course starts Monday 2nd February.
This will be delivered Monday-Thursday, 9.30am – 2.30pm for two weeks.
