The children in the Hub had a fun-filled swimming session today! They enjoyed splashing their faces and practising following visual and verbal instructions to stop and start. They also had lots of fun moving through the water when encouraged to “go” and then stopping to make a “starfish” shape when asked to “stop.” Well done to all! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️🌟🌟

This week our pupil leaders all received their lanyards and badges. They are already wearing them with such pride and we know they will represent the school amazingly as they all SHOW UP WITH KIND HEARTS AND READY MINDS. Well done to all our amazing leaders!

Year 3 had a fantastic time completing their scooter ramp-up session today! The children developed their balance, coordination and control while practising safe scooting skills. They showed great determination, growing confidence and excellent teamwork as they tackled different challenges. Well done, Year 3, for all your hard work and enthusiasm! 🛴🌟

The year 6 children were fantastic this afternoon while carrying out discussions and activities on consent. They learnt about respectful and disrespectful behaviour and what to do in different situations if they felt uncomfortable. What a mature attitude Class 5, well done!

PHSCE – 23/09/26
Today, we listened to and watched the Pantosaurs song, which taught us all about keeping our body parts private and safe.
Lynn demonstrated where we wear our pants, and then we decorated our own pairs of pants to put onto a body template. We used a variety of bright colours to make each pair unique, and everyone did a fantastic job of showing where they should go!
