Laithes Primary School

Laithes Primary School We aim to be a caring school that strives to set all children on the path to a successful life, through the provision of high quality education

This page has been set up to help with our paperless project to try and cut the costs of ink and paper. This page is to be strictly used as a one-way communication tool with parents. We will try and keep parents updated with everything going on in school as soon as we possibly can. We will try to provide useful links and any other information that we feel will help improve your child's learning. We encourage parents to read our 'Social Media Policy' which has been updated to represent the new methods of networking that we are using. If parents feel they need to discuss any issues, we would encourage them to contact the school office rather than use this page to respond to information. Any parent who uses this page negatively may be blocked.

We have had a fantastic few weeks in the Hub, enjoying lots of activities and learning new skills.

In literacy, we have been exploring our new book, The Rainbow Fish. The children worked together to paint and decorate our very own Rainbow Fish which is now on display in the classroom. It looks beautiful !🎨🐠

We have also been out and about in the community, taking part in some litter picking. All children did a brilliant job at collecting lots of rubbish and keeping our local area clean. We were so impressed with their hard work and teamwork ! 🗑️

In PE, we have been developing our footwork skills and exploring different ways of moving. We always finish our PE sessions with a relaxing yoga cool down 🧘‍♀️🧘

It has been lovely seeing the children working together and trying new things ⭐️
