Macey came to me wanting to feel better in herself. Three months on, she's tried her jeans on and sent me that message. ☝️

The numbers back it up too!
📉 10.3kg gone
📉 5% body fat down
📏 5cm off her waist, 2cm off her hips helping her achieve the shape she wanted

But the number that matters most is zero. Zero sessions where we trained for a number on a scale. Every session was about building someone who feels strong, confident, and comfortable in her own skin.

Another great NSV (non-scale victory) this time from Sarah W.

She's going away and had ordered some new jeans. Except she's had to return them because they're too big!

She's slightly frustrated that the new ones won't come in time for her break, but not enough for it to take the shine of the amazing results she's achieving.

It's so great to hear these stories and see the positive impact exercise and nutrition is having on people's lives.

The Times features some important news this morning!

GLP-1 agnostic drugs are now being prescribed to people with heart disease and a risk of further strokes with a BMI of 27 (which is the average BMI in the UK and makes people slightly overweight but not obese.)

These drugs are usually reserved for those with diabetes or classified as obese but this opens up the possibility of a million more patients benefiting.

It’s crucial to follow your GP’s advice on a healthy diet if you’re prescribed these medications.

Additionally, be mindful of resistance training and check with your doctor to ensure it’s safe to incorporate it into your routine. As these medications can impact muscle loss alongside fat loss.

If you want to target the middle of your back to create definition, here's a top tip to improve your form. 👇

✅ Grab the bar as wide as you can
✅ Think about closing the gap between your elbows and sides
✅ Bring the bar to your collar bone (not your tummy)
✅ Keep the shoulders back if you round them forward the weight's too heavy

⚠️ Pick a weight you can do with out rocking back and forth

★ It's fair to say that there's more than one way to do this and there's multiple alternate grips that target different areas of the back. But based on what most people tell me their aiming for, this is the main adjustment they need to make.
