It’s lovely to see some of our Year 2 children out and about today, taking part in a local sponsored walk to raise money for their football team! 👏

If you spot them on their travels, give them a peep of the horn 🚗📣 or pop some spare change in their buckets! 🪣💷

A fantastic effort from the boys, helping to support grassroots football in our local community. ⚽🙌

From staff meeting to classroom in less than 24 hours! 🙌

🏆 FIVE YEARS OF GOLD! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to have been awarded the School Games Gold Mark for the fifth consecutive year! ⭐️

This is a huge achievement and reflects the fantastic participation of our pupils and the breadth of opportunities we provide across sport, recreation and adventurous activities.

These are fundamental pillars of our HCPS Offer, helping our children to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and a lifelong love of being active.

A huge well done to all of our pupils and a massive thank you to our staff for making these opportunities possible. 👏

🌱 Our School Allotment is really taking shape! 🌱

A big evening of progress — metres of membrane laid, over 200 pegs used and everything ready for Gardening Club to begin building our planters! 🔨🌿

Even Mr T’s dad came to the rescue too! 💚

🥫💚 HCPS Foodbank Drive 💚🥫

We’re proud to be supporting Barnsley Foodbank as part of our HCPS Offer and Civic Engagement strand.

From Monday 28th September to Friday 6th October, we’re asking families to send in donations of essential food and household items. Every small donation can make a big difference to people in our local community.

📦 Donations can be sent into school with your child any day during this week, and our Heads of Houses will organise and sort everything before it is delivered to the foodbank.
