🎉 What an incredible year for FSCS! 🎉

Thanks to the amazing support of our school community, we’re delighted to share that this year’s fundraising total is an incredible £6,500!

The summer performance & our summer fayre raffle alone raised over £2,200!!
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered and supported our events throughout the year.

Here’s just some of what the funds have helped provide for the children:

A huge thank you to all the local businesses who generously donated raffle prizes, vouchers and gifts throughout the year.

Every ticket bought, cake donated, raffle prize gifted and hour volunteered has made a real difference to the children at our school.

And we’re not stopping there! We’re already looking ahead to exciting improvements to the school playground next year, watch this space…

Its been lovely to see what the children have grown, and to know they’re helping our bees thrive while having lots of fun along the way. 🐝

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the competition, especially our local garden centre, Horsfields Nursery, who generously donated the sunflower seeds and made it possible for us to run the competition.🌻🏆

All the money raised from this will go directly back into the school to support the children at Silkstone Common JI School 💙💛

Just a reminder that our sunflower competition closes tomorrow! 🌞

If you’ve been growing your sunflower, don’t forget to send in your entry before the end of tomorrow.

Please measure your sunflower from the base of the visible green stem right upto the top of the stalk/bud & send your picture with measurement & your childs name/class via dojo to FOSC!

We can’t wait to see how tall they’ve grown! 🌱📏
