As we all embrace 2024 its hard to believe this page has been going strong for nearly 12 years. This page was created in order for all former students of the school to be able to come together & share their memories of this once great school. It wasn't the most modern it may not have had the best facilities. But it had a place in all our memories. So many people who were friends whilst at school & so many people who still are many years after leaving is a testament to how many connections were made during this schools time. High School Demolition 1952-2009 I made this for all the former high schools
This page has been created to honour the once great School that holds so many memories for all of the students that attended throughout its existence. It is not always easy to find new content on this old school that was full of so many memories for so many people. It has been 10 years this year since the school was unfortunately demolished. Though the building maybe gone the memories will always remain.

White Cross High School circa 1966
Mr Carl Chapman passed away suddenly, aged 72. He was an amazing teacher always funny & always helpful with everyone who was fortunate enough to be in his classes.
Mr Chapman touched the lives of so many people.
R.I.P. Mr Carl Chapman.
