ONE STAGE, ONE DREAM 2026 🌟
After all the excitement of One Stage, One Dream 2026, I wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our show so incredibly special.
A show of this size takes so much teamwork behind the scenes, and I feel incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful group of teachers, helpers, parents and chaperones supporting our dancers every step of the way. ❤️
A massive thank you to my fantastic teaching team — Shauna Hall, Helen Woodley, Lucy Speight and Jadine Hall. Your ideas, choreography, creativity and dedication never fail to amaze me. I genuinely couldn’t do it without you, and I’m so grateful to have you by my side. 💕
A special mention too for our brilliant student helpers Georgia Outram, Eryn Taylor, Hannah Housley and Isabelle Landon. Thank you for giving up your time to help in classes and support the younger dancers. You have been absolute stars! 🌟
And then there were our incredible dancers… WOW! 🤩
Every single pupil stepped onto that stage and gave everything they had. The confidence, enthusiasm, energy and talent on display made me incredibly proud. Watching them perform, seeing their smiles and witnessing how much they have grown is one of the most rewarding parts of being their teacher. 💃🕺✨
Well done to every single KDA pupil — you were amazing! ❤️
A huge thank you must also go to our wonderful chaperones and DBS helpers:
Helen Woodley, Jayne Speight, Louise King, Adele Cooper, Emma Outram, Charlotte Wood, Jessica Wildey, Alison Taylor Fellows, Lisa Holmes, Amy Glossop, Carla Nogowczyk, Sarah Otter, Megan Otter, Kim Armitage, Annette Pashley Hough, Rebecca Smallridge, Justine Evans, Sara Coates, Laura Duffy, Lisa Clements, Beth Smith, Beth Moore, Georgina Meller, Tricia Redfern and Rebecca Durrans.
From looking after our youngest performers and reassuring nervous dancers, to organising costumes, helping with quick changes and keeping backstage running as smoothly as possible — your support was invaluable. 💕
I’m so grateful for every minute you gave to make sure our dancers were happy, safe and ready to shine. We really could not have done it without you! Apologies if I have accidentally missed anyone from the list. ❤️
It is the people behind the scenes who make it possible for our dancers to walk onto that stage with such confidence, and I hope you all know just how appreciated you are.
A special thank you to Emma Outram and Alison Taylor Fellows for sourcing some fantastic raffle prizes, and to everyone who donated prizes and purchased raffle tickets. Your generosity means we can continue to invest the money raised back into the dance school and purchase new equipment for our pupils.
It was sadly the last show for Georgia Outram, Alfie Smith, Madelaine Durrans and Alice Housley. I wish you the best of luck with your future pathways and it’s been an absolute pleasure watching you all grow in confidence, performance and dedication over the years. You will be part of the KDA dance family forever. 🌟🌟🌟💞
Finally, on behalf of myself and the teaching team, thank you so much for all the beautiful flowers, cards and gifts we have received. Your kindness and thoughtfulness mean more than you know. 🥰💐
📸 Photos from the weekend will be shared very soon on our main page and other social media sites so keep your eyes peeled!
Please tag me in any backstage photos you have so I can share them too.
🎥 If anyone hasn’t ordered a stream of the show but would like one please let me know asap.
For now, everyone deserves a HUGE well-earned rest! 😴❤️ You have all worked so hard, and I hope you enjoy some time to relax and celebrate everything we have achieved together.
And, of course… the countdown to our 2027 show has already begun! 👀✨
📚 A reminder that our new timetable starts this week. All changes to private lessons have already been discussed with parents, and the updated Saturday class times are available on the parents’ page and on the studio noticeboard.
Thank you for another incredible year and for being such an important part of our dance family.
One stage. One dream. One amazing KDA family. ✨💖
Love,
Kathryn 💕
