Sharing some information on a new trend.
Polynucleotides are really good for skin boosting but please DO NOT have them injected into your lips 👄

Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments derived from salmon or trout s***m – and yes, they’re being injected into lips.

But lips may be the worst possible site for regenerative biologics in that they are:
1. Highly vascular = higher risk of vascular and immune complications.
2. Constantly moving = mechanical stress, spread, unpredictable outcomes.
3. Close to the oral microbiome = risk of biofilm and delayed onset nodules.

No approval. No robust evidence. No long-term safety data.

Once again, patients are being used as experiments.
