Fuel prices hurting your wallet? Here’s how to pay less at the pump:
⛽ Compare prices using apps before you fill up
📍 Avoid motorway/service stations — they’re usually pricier
🕒 Fill up early in the week or late evening when prices can dip
🛑 Don’t wait until empty — you lose flexibility to shop around
💳 Use loyalty cards or cashback credit cards for extra savings
A little planning can save you a lot over time 🚗💷

The Driving Theory test sometimes has questions that you think you should know but when put on the spot you’re not sure 🤔
Traffic Light sequence can be one of those questions! Do you know the traffic light sequence if asked??
Ever wonder why so many learner drivers get the traffic light sequence wrong… even though they’ve seen it thousands of times? 🚦
It’s not about intelligence — it’s about how we learn.
Most people experience traffic lights passively. As passengers or pedestrians, we react to them without consciously processing the order:Red → Red & Amber → Green → Amber → Red
Because we’re not actively thinking about the sequence, the brain doesn’t store it properly. It’s “familiar” but not learned.
Make sure you know yours 🚦🚗 👍

One of the reasons people fail their UK driving test is not properly stopping at a STOP sign 🛑 ✋🏼🚗
It sounds simple, but many learners slow down and roll through instead of coming to a complete stop. Examiners are looking for full control: that means stopping fully at the line, checking both directions carefully, and only moving off when it’s safe. As well as using the foot brake you could apply the handbrake to secure the car once you have stopped, this shows you have fully stopped.
A rolling stop might feel harmless, especially on a quiet road—but in a test, it’s marked as a serious fault.
Rule 171 of The Highway Code states that you MUST stop behind the solid white line at a junction with a 'Stop' sign. This rule requires a full, complete halt to ensure the way is clear before entering the major road. Failure to comply is an offence.
Remember: Stop means STOP. Take that extra second—it could be the difference between passing and failing.

Your tyres are the only thing connecting your car to the road—don’t take them for granted 🚗
Regularly checking your tyre pressure and tread can:
✔️ Improve fuel efficiency
✔️ Keep you safe in wet or slippery conditions
✔️ Extend the life of your tyres
✔️ Save you money in the long run
It only takes a few minutes, but it can make a big difference. Stay safe, stay smart—check your tyres
