The easiest recipe ever, slow cook chicken using legs/or drum sticks (saves time on chopping chicken breasts up)

3 drum sticks in the slow cooker (I suggest 3 for an adult)
1 onion (ideally red)

Sauce

200ml coconut milk
sprinkle of chilli flakes
sprinkle of cumin
sprinkle of mild chilli powder
3 cloves of garlic
1 chicken stock cube

Mix everything up - sauce completed

Throw in the chicken drumsticks and the chopped onion

Mix up

Slow cooker on low, go out and come back 8 hours later - job done.

(note - drum sticks are cheap)

Also to scale up for other portion, just add an extra onion, maybe one or two baby potatoes.....also add extra thighs if you want ready made chicken legs for other days/or a snack

Avoid doing workouts that work for professional dancers, or 29 year old reality stars who have been hitting the junk food for the last 6 weeks

You may find you have to do lots of painful exercises 5 times per week and do unrealistic easting plans

And don't forget it will be easier to get an ex professional dancer in shape.... Than it is for a regular takeaway muncher.

The other thing with ex super fit people is that doing the plan in reverse makes sence...plans in reverse?

1) you take your initial before photo when you are at your leanest and fittest

2) you then gorge on junk food, alcohol, takeaways, chips etc... For 6 weeks... Eat junk like a trooper and gain 2 stones of fat

3) then take a photo when you are at your fattest

Swap the photos around

4) your 6 week of eating junk, this is now your before photo..... And the photo you took 2 months ago (before you went on the junk binge) that is now your after photo.

(easy trick, works every time)

And why would you want to do a plan that works for professional dancers or 29 year old reality stars anyway?

Best do something that worked for other people like you

This is a picture 10 weeks apart of someone with fibromyalgia so was a little limited with energy.

But 1 session per week for 10 weeks, she saw these changes

Also... 1 session per week is more realistic for most people.

Aim to do plans that have worked for other people like you

Add more vegetables to those stir fries and one chicken breast can be used for 3 meals (bulk out those recipes with veg)

Meals created in 10 minutes

Don't diet or try shakes, eat real food instead

And if you can get your meat from a butcher or farm shop you get much better quality food, and unlike big supermarkets they aren't hiking prices

CHICKEN AND VEGETABLE NOODLE SOUP

If you are wanting to lose weight in 2023 and are considering a diet or even shakes, then why not consider an alternative
Chicken and vegetable noodle soup.

We got a real array of veg in this soup water chestnuts, sweetcorn, carrot, mushrooms and the ever present, garlic. I do apologize for the portion sizes, but you are going to need help from other people to eat these recipes
(or use them as microwave meals for other days, if you are the only person in your house that plans to do healthy eating in the new year)

Easy peasy, all done in one pan and the lot cooked in around 30 mins, very little prep

Super cheap, tasty and filling
