Happy 12th Birthday to one of our amazing student teachers, Jack!

Jack has been part of our dance family since he was around 5 years old, and he's been making his mark ever since. His dedication and enthusiasm never go unnoticed-each week he arrives early to support all the classes before taking part in his own hour-and-a-half session.

Good Morning.

This is not a post i thought id ever have to write so soon.

My beautiful mum and biggest cheerleader of every single student, parent and me has sadly passed away suddenly.

Therefore dancing will be closed for a short while to allow me to process such a huge loss and hole.

I really hope you stay with us and return when we manage to open again.

Our Monday evening classes launch next week, and we can’t wait to start the week dancing with you.

Spaces are available in all classes, and parents are welcome to relax in our waiting room while dancers are in class.

We’ve been asked so many times what weekday classes we offer, and now we’re excited to say we have four classes every Monday to kick-start the week.

Starting Monday 2nd February

If you’ve never danced with us before, we’re opening our doors with one free trial class just message us to book your spot!

These last 8–10 weeks have honestly been an absolute joy. Teaching Claire, aka The Closet Queen Myp Queen of Barnsley has been such an honour and a pleasure to teach. She has brought endless energy, fun, laughter, and sparkle into the studio every single week. And if you were there last night, you’ll know exactly what I mean.

She lit up the floor. Sequence, feathers, timing she had it all down. I am so proud of everything we’ve achieved together. And more than that, I’ve gained an even closer friend. I’ve known Claire for years, but now it feels like she’ll be part of my life forever.

Claire, you’ve absolutely smashed it. You smashed the fundraising target, you smashed your routine, and through everything life’s thrown your way, you’ve shone brighter than ever. You’ve been the best person I could have wished to dance with.

I can’t wait for us to catch up soon. I’m right behind you when we see our other queens work the stage.

The last eight weeks have been an absolute delight teaching the Queen of Barnsley herself — The Closet Queen, Claire! 💙🩷👑

I (Sam) haven’t performed on stage in over eight years, so stepping back into the spotlight is a huge moment for me. Excited and nervous doesn’t even begin to cover it! But with the routine Claire and I have created together, I feel more than ready. We’re going to give everything we’ve got to our audience and supporters.
