🎉 That's a wrap! School is officially out for the summer! ☀️

As we share the last of our wonderful Year 6 Celebration and Graduation photos, we'd like to say a huge congratulations to our amazing Year 6 pupils. We are so proud of everything you have achieved and wish you every success as you begin your next adventure.

To all of our families, thank you for your continued support throughout the year. We hope you all have a fantastic summer and we look forward to seeing everyone back in September, refreshed and ready for another exciting school year ☀️📚💙

What an incredible few days we've had on our Year 6 residential in Manchester! 🌟

We couldn't be prouder of our amazing Year 6 children. Their behaviour throughout the trip has been exemplary, their kindness, enthusiasm, resilience and wonderful personalities have shone through every single day. You have all been fantastic ambassadors for our school and it has been an absolute pleasure for the staff to share this special experience with you.

We're so pleased you've had the best time celebrating the end of your primary school journey with your friends, making memories that we hope will last a lifetime. From bouncing around on the treetop nets, racing down the tubes, enjoying ice creams, bowling, sipping hot chocolates with biscuits, tucking into McDonald's and, of course, attempting to stay up all night together (although everyone was so tired they were all fast asleep by 11pm! 😴😂).

Thank you Year 6, for making this residential so memorable. ⭐

Now it's time for today's celebrations... fish and chips and a water fight! 🐟🍟

In these special GET SCHOOL READY sessions Little City is working with Barnsley Civic to offer FREE summer sessions to help parents/carers with enabling the children to be ready to start in September.

Sessions will cover all the skills required for starting school –

– Practising using cutlery, carrying food trays, cutting food.

– Learning about hygiene and the importance of oral health.

– Following instructions, playing with other children, sharing and taking turns.

– Putting on school uniform, coats and shoes.

– As well as improving fine and gross motor skills, and social and communication skills.

All whilst having lots of fun!

Little City is entirely mobile role play City for the under 6’s to explore and enjoy. Utilising our bespoke backdrops and specially selected high-quality toys and equipment, your child can fully immerse themselves in their own world and welcome you in too!

Our toddlers and pre-schoolers are our biggest observers: they have watched us as adults in the supermarket, post letters in the Post Office and style our hair. At Little City your little ones can ‘be’ grownups: where nothing is off limits, they can be the hairdresser, the firefighter, the builder, the café owner and much, much more.

Book spaces for children only but they must be accompanied by an adult.
