'Together we will succeed' Our purpose built Primary school was opened in June 2007 with extensive, up-to-date, facilities.

Despite its town centre location, the extensive grounds are attractively landscaped and stocked with hundreds of trees. The building was named after an eminent Victorian engineer who was educated and reared in the locality.
