🌈💙 THANK YOU FOR AN INCREDIBLE YEAR! 💙🌈

As the 2025–2026 academic year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a truly unforgettable year at Hunningley Primary Academy.

Together, we have created countless memories, celebrated achievements and shared some amazing experiences, including our Whole School Colour Run, Firework Festival, World Cup Summer Concerts, Valentine's Day Movie Night, DfE Christmas Show, Our annual Spring Fair and the wonderful Chester Zoo Lanterns and Light Festival. We have also celebrated incredible academic success, with our Year 6 children achieving an outstanding 97% in Reading, Writing and Maths SATs – the best results in our school's history!

None of this would be possible without the support of our incredible children, dedicated staff, supportive families and wider community. Thank you for being part of another fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, friendship and success.

🏫 School is now closed for the summer holidays and will reopen to pupils and families on Thursday 3rd September 2026.

☀️ We wish all of our children, families and staff a safe, happy and relaxing summer break. We hope you enjoy making special memories with your loved ones and return refreshed for another exciting year ahead.

📱 As school closes for the summer holidays, our social media pages will also be inactive throughout the break. We look forward to reconnecting with our families and sharing more exciting news and celebrations when we return in September. 💙

Here is Part 2 of our incredible Hunningley Colour Run — a fantastic way to celebrate the end of another amazing school year together. 💛

The children absolutely loved every minute, and it was wonderful to see so much laughter, energy and excitement across school. 🌟

⭐️🌈 COLOUR RUN – PART 1! 🌈⭐️

What an incredible way to finish the academic year! 🎉

Today, our children took part in Hunningley’s very first Colour Run and it was every bit as colourful, exciting and memorable as we hoped it would be! 🌟

These photographs capture just some of the fun from the first part of the event — from clouds of colour to huge smiles and lots of laughter. It was fantastic to see our whole school community coming together to celebrate another amazing year. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event by donating sponsorship money. Your generosity has helped make today even more special for our children.

⭐️🏆 PUPIL OF THE YEAR 2025–2026 🏆⭐️

One of the most special moments of the school year is announcing our Pupil of the Year winners. 🌟

This is always an incredibly difficult decision for our teachers to make, as every child brings something unique and special to our school community.

All of our children are worthy winners, but after much discussion, our staff have selected the following pupils as their Pupil of the Year for 2025–2026:

As part of their award, all winners have received a place at Yorkshire Wildlings Summer Camp — what a fantastic prize! 🌲🌟
