A huge well done to our fantastic Year 4 children for completing their Multiplication Checks! 🌟

A huge well done to our amazing Year 1 children for completing their Phonics Screening Checks! 🌟

They have worked incredibly hard throughout the year and should be so proud of everything they have achieved. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow — they have truly given it their all! 💛

The children enjoyed a special celebration, complete with balloons, to mark the occasion. 🎈

A big thank you to our brilliant KS1 team for preparing the children so well, and to Mrs Brown for the fantastic balloons that made the day even more special! ✨

⭐️🌲 YEAR 6 – WOODLANDS 🌲⭐️

A reminder for our Year 6 families that the children will be heading into the woodlands on Monday with Forest Tom as part of our Woodlands Curriculum! 🍃✨

We know that it is a whole‑school non‑uniform day, so children can either:
✅ Bring their woodland clothing to change into, or
✅ Change back into their non‑uniform after their session

Please also ensure children have suitable footwear for outdoor learning.

We’re looking forward to another fantastic session in the woods! 🌟🍂

⭐️🏆 BEST IN EVERYONE AWARDS 2026 🏆⭐️

What an incredible evening at Hunningley! 🌟

Tonight, we were proud to host the Best in Everyone Awards for the second consecutive year, celebrating children across the United Learning family.

Pupils from across our schools were nominated in nine categories including Character, Creative Arts, English, Maths, Humanities, Sport, Leadership & Service and Science — and we are delighted to have celebrated some truly outstanding winners.

We were especially proud to recognise winners from Hunningley Primary Academy, William Hulme Grammar School, Lincoln Minster Prep School and Abbey Hey Primary Academy. What an achievement! 👏✨

A huge congratulations to all of our award winners and a thank you to the families who travelled to be part of such a special evening 💛

We would also like to say a big well done to our wonderful Year 3 children and Hunningley All Stars, who performed beautifully and added something truly special to the event 🎶✨

Finally, a massive thank you to our incredible leadership team for organising such an extraordinary evening, and to Mrs Brown for the fantastic balloons that helped create such a brilliant atmosphere 🎈

⭐️⚽ WORLD CUP NON‑UNIFORM ⚽⭐️

Good afternoon families,

We’re excited to let our families know that on Monday 15th June, we will be having a World Cup Non‑Uniform Day! 🌟

Children are invited to come to school wearing England colours, football kits or anything themed around the World Cup — we can’t wait to see some fantastic outfits! 🔴⚪⚽

We are planning something special to share with you on Wednesday, which is why we are asking children to come in non‑uniform on Monday.

We know that England’s first game is on Wednesday, however due to Sports Days taking place next week, our non‑uniform day will remain on Monday.

⚽ Even more exciting…
After this, we will be running non‑uniform days for all future England match days!

We’re looking forward to a fun, energetic week celebrating together as a school community — bring on the football! 🌟🙌

⭐️🛴 CLASS 4G – RAMP UP SCOOTER SESSION 🛴⭐️

Class 4G had a brilliant time taking part in their Ramp Up scooter session! 🌟

The photos capture just how much the children enjoyed the experience — building confidence, developing their skills and having lots of fun along the way.

It has been fantastic to see their determination and enthusiasm throughout. Well done, Class 4G! 💛✨

⭐️🎶 PARENT CHOIR – UPDATE 🎶⭐️

Good morning families,

We’re excited to share an update regarding our Hunningley Parent Choir! 💛✨

We wanted to let our families know that our Parent Choir will now be moving from Thursdays to Fridays!

📌 New day: Fridays
📅 Starting tomorrow! Our first Friday session will take place at 2:30pm, led by Miss Winton — we can’t wait to see you there! 🎤🌟

Please note:
❌ There will be no session on Friday 19th June
✅ After this, Parent Choir will continue every Friday

We’re so excited to see our school community coming together through music — we hope you can join us! 🎶💙

⭐️🍳 FATHER’S DAY BREAKFAST – IMPORTANT UPDATE 🍳⭐️

Good evening families,

We would like to apologise to our Year 5 families as we have needed to make a small change to our upcoming Father’s Day Breakfast event.

Unfortunately, the original date shared in our letter clashes with the Year 5 trip to the National Space Centre. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

We are pleased to offer an alternative date for Year 5:

⏰ 8:30am start

Please find below the updated timetable for all year groups:
• Monday 15th June – Year 5 (NEW DATE)
• Tuesday 16th June – Year 3 and Year 4
• Wednesday 17th June – Year 1 and Year 2
• Thursday 18th June – Year 6
• Friday 19th June – Reception and Nursery

This special event is a wonderful opportunity for children to enjoy breakfast with their dad, or a significant male family member, followed by a short classroom activity together. 💛
