💕 There are only few days to go before Pinktober begins! 💕

💕 Modern Martial Arts are extremely proud to be supporting Breast Cancer Now’s “Wear it Pink” campaign again this October for an amazing 7th year! 💕

💕 If it’s your first October with us at MMA, please get involved! For a donation of £5, you will receive a fabulous pink belt to wear in classes throughout !💕

‼️ Please let us know if you need a pink belt by commenting on this post or messaging via WhatsApp - stating whether you will need adult or junior sized belts.‼️

💕 Students who already own a pink belt will gain the right to wear it again this year by making their £5 donation - we will provide you with a pair of pink tags to attach to your pink belt to reflect your continued support in 2026!💕

💕 We look forward to seeing all our students getting involved and supporting this amazing charity.

🌟Stars of the Lesson - Adult Kickboxing🌟

Tuesday: Kristian was amazing at assisting with demonstrations and being an excellent partner. Ashton worked hard with determination, alongside adults with greater experience.

Thursday: Stephanie and Kristian worked very well together tonight and whilst grades apart met in the middle and pulled off some clean techniques between them.

Saturday: Harrison who is new to kickboxing but experienced in karate showed that he could transfer his knowledge and helped his sister as well as they both navigated some tricky combos!

🌟Stars of the Lesson - Cadet Kickboxing🌟

Tuesday: Kayden made an excellent effort all lesson and some super padwork - holding pads for a higher grade and testing them with speed and movement. Harry worked tirelessly in body-shot sparring. He moved well and placed his shots effectively.

Thursday: Kayden, stayed on task, concentrated well and did a good job of what was asked! Harry was using multiple combinations, kept moving around his opponent while applying the footwork taught in class.

Saturday: Ivy always sets a great example in class. Stays focused and works hard.

🌟Stars of the Lesson - Junior Kickboxing🌟

Tuesday: Billie had solid techniques throughout the lesson. Trying hard to master the footwork.

Thursday: Brodie gave lots of excellent examples and showed some really skilled padwork

Saturday: Flick had some nice, consistent combos. She took on board teaching points and tried her best at everything she was asked to do. Sid took everything in his stride and had a good go at sparring. He kept everything at a nice pace and was respectful of his partners.

Well done to this week’s Stars of the Lesson in Little Champions!

Tuesday: Phoebe was amazing all lesson, showing some wonderful jabs and crosses from a tight guard. Her kicks are showing improved power and coordination.

Saturday: Jaxon showed lots of hard work and energy - some good punches, kicks and defensive skills on show!

⭐ STUDENT OF THE MONTH – AUGUST ⭐

A huge congratulations to David, who has been awarded our
Student of the Month for August!👏

David has really gone the extra mile this month, putting in *additional training both in the dojo and at home*. What really stands out is the way he takes on board the things we work on in class and then makes a conscious effort to apply those changes to his training.

His hard work, commitment and consistency are clearly paying off, and you can genuinely see the difference in his technique and overall performance. 💪🥋
