We are recruiting a nursery deputy manager 🐑
Our Cudworth nursery is a small setting for children 2 - 4 years .
Post to start september 2026 - term time only

8am-5pm - Monday-Thursday

8am - 4pm - Fridays

£27,367 - actual yearly salary

As a Nursery deputy Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your role involves managing staff, communicating with parents, and implementing educational programmes.

You will be a hands on deputy support learning and development within the room and completing office duties with the nursery manager as and when needed .

Duties
- Supervise nursery staff and provide leadership
- Develop and implement childcare policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress
- Manage the nursery operations alongside the manager
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children
- Oversee health and safety practices within the nursery
- Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations

Experience
- Experience working with children in an early childhood education setting
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Previous experience managing a nursery is desirable

-level 3 min in early years and relevant managerial or leader experience

Post is subject to DBS and 2 sound references

Hourly rate of £14.20 with paid 30 break daily - equivalent to £15 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking to recruit a nursery cleaner
The nursery is a small nursery with one main room and 2 small rooms .
This included just the children’s play spaces.

It will be 4pm-5pm Monday - Thursday and 4-6 fridays for a deeper clean

Previous experience is preferred and training in moving and handling and COSH
You will work term time only .

We are on the look out for a early years level 3 to join our team 🎉

We are recruiting 1 full time staff member to join our well established team at cudworth . You will open up the setting each day with our management 🙌

You must have experience working with early years and be level 3 qualified in early years

The hours will be full time , Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm and 4pm finish Fridays , term time only
