After a family trip to the commonwealth games in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿… here is a catch up on the last week and a half.
2 trips to Magna Science Adventure Centre - including the dinosaur show 🦖🦕 WOW!!!
Room on the broom trail - we walked 2 whole miles and read the story as we found the statues
Two local parks
RSPB Old Moor Dearne Valley discovering the fort and the wobbly bridges
Blackerhall Farm
We love being out and about and creating memories and having the best adventures

We have certainly got that FRIDAY FEELING… here at the setting. 🎉
Delivery day…on our big blue bus. 🚙
Thank you to Danny Frost who always gets us the best motors for Morris Minors.
We’re so excited to continue our adventures, and drive around in style, extra legroom and a huge boot to fit all of our equipment in.
Just in time for the summer school holidays, to take lots of trips out.
Let’s make some memories kiddies 🥹🥰

A day of stripping everything back to nature.
Exploring / searching for bugs / wobbly bridges / stepping stones / den building / playground / picnic / wild flowers / sensory trails / looking out for the birds. A lovely wholesome day 🥰

Reminder of setting closures and non funded weeks:-

Early setting closure Friday 24th July 2026 - setting will close at 3pm

Closed Monday 27th July to Wednesday 29th July - Re-open Thursday 30th July 2026

Closed w/c 24th August Monday to Monday 31st August 2026 (Bank Holiday) - Re-open Tuesday 1st September

W/C 20th July until 31st August are non funded weeks. Funding will re commence 1st September 2026. Therefore any hours that are not covered by stretched funding, will need to be paid outlined on invoices. Please also make sure your codes are reconfirmed before 31st August please # # #

LOTS of outdoor fun…
Visiting a few different playgrounds / feeding the ducks / looking for big fish / visiting restaurants for the children to learn how to get their food, choose and order for themselves / 2 playgroups / school fair / visit to the ice cream van / Tots Explore for Friday fun

A fantastic week, making the most of the better weather and no heatwave. 3 different parks / two different playgroups / farm feeding the animals / seeing the horses / blowing bubbles 🫧 / making pizzas / and some small animal handling… and how could we forget meeting our newest addition starting next year 👶🏼🥰🥹

Just a little note to say, after a tough week for everyone. I’m very proud of our Morris Minors family.

W/C 15.06.2026
What an action packed week we have had.
Attended school sports day to support our older siblings, met and ex professional footballer and got some penalty kick tips. Started collecting our lions collections, with a visit to the park and feeding the ducks. Attended a fantastic childminders network event Tots Explore, meeting lots of new friends, attended Tankersley Tots - Playgroup where we crafted for Father’s Day and shot penalties at one of the dads. And finally finished off our Friday with a visit to the park, fresh air, fun and outdoor adventures. I hope you all sleep as well as I will this weekend 😅
