So this morning after our little ones noticing a couple of staff members didn't have 'pretty nails'... we had a good at making our own nail salon! The children definitely showed their creative sides during this 🎨💅

Important dates for this half term 💚

Due to a change in booking and fees for afterschool from September 2026, all families have a letter in setting which will need completing and returning by the 1st July 2026.

Sunshine, splashes and staying SAFE 🌊☀️

The warmer weather is finally here, and with the Bank Holiday weekend coming up, lots of families will be heading to the beach, rivers, lakes and pools.

Water can be great fun, but it’s always important to stop, think and stay safe especially around open water, where it can be colder, deeper and more dangerous than it looks.

That’s why we’re sharing our SAFE Code:

💙 S – Spot the dangers
Look out for tides, currents, hidden hazards and unsafe edges.

💙 A – Take advice
Read safety signs, listen to lifeguards and only swim where it’s safe to do so.

💙 F – Go with a friend
Stay with friends or family and never swim alone.

💙 E – Know what to do in an emergency
Call 999 or 112, shout for help and never enter the water to rescue someone.

According to RLSS UK, 47% of accidental drownings happen between May and August, so now is the perfect time to help children, families and friends feel more confident around water.

Today is our last day as next week we are closed for half term 😊

I do also just want to make families aware that we have been informed of a case of chicken pox today 😢

Also can all parents please check their child's head for lice and treat accordingly.

Good morning everyone,

Just a reminder that we break up this friday for half term.

We reopen on Monday 1st June 2026 💚

This morning we had a lovely surprise when we got to nursery that we had 3 butterflies 🦋 😍

We are waiting on the final 2 butterflies hopefully appearing, watching them grow stronger then we will release them as a group 🦋🥰

So this afternoon, one of our fabulous mums came into setting to deliver 'a very hungry caterpillar' themed snack.
