To celebrate St Leger weekend at Doncaster Racecourse, we have our very own Ladies Day on Thursday 10th September at 2.30pm. Everyone who wears a hat gets a prize!
Tickets £15 each includes a drink on arrival.

Well last Saturday was an incredible day and we think it may be a little quieter tomorrow 😄. We will be open for drinks and cakes, our lovely shop will be there for your gifts and treats and obviously the museum will be there for you to browse, with or without one of our knowledgeable guides.

We are delighted to announce the date of our next Glass Fusion workshop:
Monday 31st August (Bank Holiday Monday) 10am-12pm
Our expert Gill Ellis will be teaching how to make lanterns, because these are more complex, there will be a limit of 10 PLACES.
Tickets will be on sale at the museum from Wednesday 12th August.

It's August already!
Our What's on Wednesday is salad, tomorrow is egg and cheese or quiche. There is also the choice of a sausage sandwich. 😋
And there will also be a book sale every Wednesday throughout August, so bring a bag for those reading bargains! 📚

We welcomed 101 people (and a few dogs) to the museum today to help us celebrate Yorkshire Day in the best style possible, throwing Yorkshire Puddings into a flat cap 😄. We even had a group from Leeds who had missed the main event, but got their own chance to have a go (and they were brilliant shots too!)
Thank you to everyone who came along from far and wide we are so grateful for your many kind comments and glad you had as good a time as we did.
