We don't believe every child needs to play in exactly the same way.

We believe that children should have opportunities to take part, experience challenge, work with others and enjoy the satisfaction of succeeding.

Sometimes, that means adapting the game.

Sometimes, it means changing the way the instructions are delivered.

Sometimes, it means changing the group or the objective.

And sometimes, it simply means giving a child another opportunity to have a go.

Because the difference between:

“I can't do this.”

and

“I can do this.”

can sometimes be finding a different way to play.

The results of the 2026 Imagination Gaming Awards have now been sent to all the companies who entered and we’re incredibly excited to finally share them with you!

Sarah is our amazing marketing person, who also coordinates and delivers activities in schools and during the holidays.
She’s exceptionally creative, loves games, and she really likes dice! 🎲 If you see her at a convention and she’s not in our zone, there’s a good chance she’ll be somewhere on the lookout for more dice to add to her collection! 😄

☀️🎲 What a summer we had! 🎲☀️

As the new school year starts, we’ve been looking back at just how busy (and brilliant!) the summers holidays have been. 💙

From holiday clubs and HAF sessions to libraries, schools and community venues, we’ve spent the summer getting games onto tables and giving children plenty of opportunities to play, learn, problem-solve and have fun together. 🎲🧠🙌

We’ve had hundreds of children joining us throughout the holidays, discovering new games, trying out new skills, making friends and, of course, enjoying a little bit of healthy competition along the way! 😄

A special thank you to Spin Master for sending us such a great selection of games to take along to our sessions this summer. They’ve given the children even more games to discover and enjoy, and it’s been fantastic seeing them getting stuck in and having fun around the table. 💙

🎒🎲 Welcome Back!🎲🎒

The first week of the new school year is coming to a close, and we wanted to say a big welcome back to all the children, teachers and school staff! 👋

Whether you’ve been back since Monday, joined a little later in the week, or are still getting into the rhythm of the new school year, we hope you’ve had a fantastic start and are beginning to settle into the new term. 📚✨

For some, it’s been a week of catching up with friends and finding your feet again. For others, it’s been a brand-new school, new class or new challenges. Whatever your week has looked like, we hope there have been plenty of smiles along the way!

Here at Imagination Gaming, we’re looking forward to another term of learning through play, bringing tabletop games into schools and helping children develop skills such as problem solving, communication, maths, literacy and teamwork, all while having fun around the table. 🎲🧠💬

🏆 **Awards Update!** 🏆

A little update on our Imagination Gaming Awards…

We had hoped to be announcing our shortlisted titles and winners by the end of August, but we’ve had to push this back slightly.

It’s been an incredibly busy summer for us, with holiday clubs, teaching sessions and conventions, and this has meant we’ve only just been able to finish the judging process and finalise the results.

We’re sorry to keep you waiting, but we want to make sure the companies who entered hear the news from us first. 📩

All participating companies will be emailed with their results by the end of this week. Once they’ve had the opportunity to receive the news, we’ll be sharing the shortlisted titles and winners with everyone here on social media! 🎉

So, if you’ve been wondering who made the shortlist or who will be taking home an Imagination Gaming Award…

⚔️🏰 **THE KING'S GROVE IS CALLING!** 🏰⚔️

This weekend, we're heading to **England's Medieval Festival** at Pippingford Park, East Sussex,and we're bringing plenty of tabletop gaming fun with us! 🎲

As part of **The Games Quarter at King's Grove**, the Imagination Gaming team will be on hand throughout the weekend, ready to demonstrate a fantastic selection of tabletop board games and teach you how to play.
