⭐ 1 x Level 2 / Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
⭐ 2 x Level 3 Early Years Apprentices

🌈 Level 2 / Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
Is caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic
Can support children’s learning, development and independence
Enjoys getting involved in play, stories, singing, outdoor learning and creative activities
Can build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Works well as part of a team
Brings confidence, kindness, energy and a good sense of humour to nursery life

Whether you are Level 2 qualified and looking to grow, or Level 3 qualified and ready to bring your experience to a family-feel setting, we would love to hear from you.

🌟 Level 3 Early Years Apprentices

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to start a career in childcare while working towards a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.

We are looking for apprentices who are:

Passionate about working with young children
Caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic
Willing to learn and develop within early years
Positive, hardworking and ready to get stuck into nursery life
Able to work as part of a friendly and supportive team
Confident joining in with play, songs, stories, creative activities and outdoor learning
Interested in building a long-term career in childcare

Applicants for the apprenticeship roles must have Maths and English GCSEs.

No previous childcare qualification is needed for the apprentice positions — just the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine love for supporting children.

Are you a confident, passionate and experienced early years practitioner who is ready to take the lead in a busy, fun and rewarding 3+ room?

At Shiningstars Daycare, we are looking for a dedicated Room Leader to join our nursery family and help lead our 3+ room with confidence, kindness and creativity.

This role would suit someone who is organised, enthusiastic and able to support both children and staff while keeping the room running smoothly — even on the days where there’s glitter everywhere, someone has misplaced a shoe, and the children have decided today is dinosaur day! 🦖✨

1 x 3+ Room Leader

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Has strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
Is confident leading a room and supporting a team
Can plan and deliver exciting, engaging and age-appropriate activities
Is organised with observations, planning, routines and daily room responsibilities
Can build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
Supports children’s independence, confidence, school readiness and emotional wellbeing
Has strong communication skills and a professional attitude
Can manage a busy room calmly, confidently and with a smile
Brings energy, patience, creativity and a good sense of humour to the team

Week 32 at Shining Stars has been another busy one under the sea! 🌊⭐

Baby Room have been helping a poor octopus get her colours back, exploring deep-sea creatures and turning bubble wrap into sea life masterpieces. Picasso would be proud… and probably covered in paint too! 🎨🐙

Ikkle Room have been treasure hunting in the sand, trying new painting techniques and getting fully stuck into cereal and foam sensory play. Messy? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. 😂✨

Big Room have been enjoying Sharing a Shell, matching sea creature shapes, searching for colours and creating their own beautiful shells. 🐚🌈

Another week of learning, laughing, exploring and probably finding sand in places we didn’t know sand could go! 💛

📚🐚 2+ Room Book of the Month🐚📚

This month, our 2+ Room will be enjoying Sharing a Shell! 🦀💜

Through this lovely story, the children will explore friendship, kindness, teamwork and—of course—the importance of sharing. We can’t wait for lots of seaside activities, creative fun and rock-pool adventures! 🌊✨

We’re certainly ready to come out of our shells! 😂🐚

Our Baby Room book for this month is “A Hole in the Bottom of the Sea”! 🌊🐙

The children will enjoy exploring this fun, colourful story through singing, sensory play, sea-creature activities and plenty of underwater adventures! 🐟🦀🐚

We can’t wait to dive in and discover what’s hiding at the bottom of the sea! 💙🌊

If you’re a working parent with a child aged between 9 months and 4 years, you could be eligible for up to 30 hours of free childcare during term time.

You can apply from the term after your child turns 9 months old. To make sure your funding is in place for the autumn term, which begins in September, apply for your funding code by Monday 31 August.

Quick reminder – applications don’t carry over from the last term. So, if you’ve applied before, you’ll still need to apply for the autumn term.
