📢 Meet Your Councillors
We’re pleased to announce a special joint event with your Hoyland Milton and Rockingham councillors.
This is a great opportunity for residents from across both wards to meet their newly elected representatives, raise issues that matter to you, and discuss local priorities for our communities.
📅 Saturday 13th June
⏰ 10:00am – 12:00pm
📍 Hoyland Lift Centre
Following this event, councillor surgeries will take place within their respective wards, making it easier for residents to access support locally. We will be announcing our full programme of future surgeries shortly, including dates, times and locations.
We look forward to meeting residents from across the Hoyland Milton and Rockingham area and hearing your views.

A number of residents have been in touch with us to raise concerns regarding the proposed David Wilson Homes development stretching from Cemetery Road down towards Allotts Crescent in Jump.
We completely understand why many local people feel strongly about these proposals, particularly around flooding, drainage, and the loss of valued green space.
Whilst we recognise the need for housing and investment, we believe suitable brownfield sites should be prioritised wherever possible before green land is lost.
We will continue looking into the concerns raised and ensure local residents’ views are heard throughout the process.

What on earth? I’m absolutely shocked that we live in a time where this is thought of progress, do we really need to teach Children how to use drugs safely? Absolute madness. 🤯
