What a fabulous time we had pond dipping and bug hunting at Rabbit Ings Country Park

I've had the most relaxing 2 weeks away in Devon and my batteries are well and truly charged ☀️
Can't wait to see my 'Little Treasures' back at setting from tomorrow # # #

Oh my goodness, what an emotional week 😭

This week we have said goodbye to 2 of our 'Little Treasures' 😪 who i have had the absolute pleasure of caring for since they were babies!! Both of these children absolutely blow me away, they are both so kind, so caring, funny and the loveliest of friends to everyone 🥰 we are really going to miss you both and you are a credit to your mums & dad's 💓

Thank you so much for my beautiful gifts and cards, but more importantly, thank you for allowing me to be a part of their early years journey # #

Shining a light on Barnsley’s SEND Stars - nominations are now open for Barnsley’s SEND Awards 2026!

Our Disabled Children’s Service is delighted to be hosting Barnsley’s SEND Awards this year - a special celebration of the achievements, progress and successes of children and young people in Barnsley with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and the incredible adults who support them.

SEND Stars can be nominated across a wide range of categories, recognising their unique journey, along with the incredible adults who deserve recognition for the vital role they play.

Well..... im so glad that's the only school run i've had to do in this heat 🥵 it was a hot one!!
Thank goodness for our hydration station and portable misting fan, we managed to park in the one spot of shade there was and stay relatively cool 🌀 and hydrated 💦
Well done Little Treasures, you've all coped with the heat amazingly well, so proud of you all ☀️☀️☀️
