​Our space is completely transformed for the season, all decorated in vibrant autumn leaves and raindrops. We’ve also been busy getting the garden completely sorted for the chillier months ahead— trimmed back, and we’ve tucked our spring bulbs into the soil, ready to wake up when warmer weather returns. 🌷✨

Sometimes the best learning moments are the ones we never planned!
​Yesterday, I had a whole schedule of activities lined up, but I noticed the playing so nicely with the sea creatures. Instead of interrupting their flow, I decided to follow their lead and dive into some messy sensory play to extend their interest and facilitate play-based learning! 🐠✨

Huge thanks to one of our parents for sending in a big batch of delicious grapes! 🍇 While not all the children enjoyed eating them whole, we decided to get creative and make fresh grape juice instead. We smashed and cooked them up to bring out the natural flavor. Even without any added sugar, the juice turned out wonderfully sweet, and most of the kids loved it!

Today brought so much joy! 🌟 There is nothing quite like watching children dive headfirst into true, messy, adventurous play.
​Today’s sensory setup featured oats and chickpeas, and it didn't take long for everyone to get stuck in and thoroughly dirty! Beyond all the smiles and messy hands, sensory play like this is amazingly beneficial for young minds

This week, we are talking about body parts based on the book From Head to Toe. We will be moving our bodies a lot, singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes," and enjoying other nursery rhymes. It is so rewarding seeing the children join in or hum the songs even after singing time is over! ☺️
