🍂🌳 Autumn Leaf Scavenger Hunt! 🌳🍂
Today we had lots of fun on our scavenger hunt, searching for leaves in all different colours! 🍁🍂 We collected beautiful shades of red, orange, yellow, brown and green before using them to create our very own colourful autumn trees. 🌈🌳
It was a lovely hands-on activity that encouraged the children to explore nature, notice colours and textures, and get creative with the treasures they found outdoors. 🥰🍃
We loved watching our little leaf collections turn into beautiful autumn trees! 🍂❤️💛🧡💚

🍕 PIZZA DAY IS COMING! 🍕

We’re making pizzas on Monday! 😋🍕 We’re just waiting for our pizza boxes to arrive, but in the meantime, the children have been busy getting creative and making their very own pizza box toppers at our childminding setting. 🎨🖍️

We think they’ve done a fantastic job! ❤️

🍕 Coming to a pizzeria near you… 🍕😂

We can’t wait to see their finished pizzas on Monday! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

🚶‍♀️💚 Independent Walking

we’ve been practising walking independently — giving little legs the chance to explore at their own pace. 🥰

It’s so important for children to build confidence walking outside, even if we start with just a few minutes. Every step helps develop balance, coordination, strength and confidence, while also encouraging independence. 🌱

I love seeing those little steps turn into “I can do it myself!” moments. ❤️

Today the cardboard box became so much more than just a box! 😍 The children turned it into a little den, tunnel and imaginary world, using their bodies to crawl, squeeze, climb and explore.
This kind of open-ended play is fantastic for physical development, problem-solving, spatial awareness and imagination. It also encourages children to make their own choices and lead their play. 🥰
Sometimes the simplest things create the best adventures! 📦❤️
