A huge thank you to all the wonderful children and families for another fantastic year filled with fun, laughter, learning, and memories. It has been a pleasure watching the children grow and thrive.

Now it's time for a well-earned summer break! 🌴

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and fun-filled summer, and we look forward to welcoming all our children back in September, ready for more adventures together.

🍦☀️ A perfect way to cool down after our park adventure! ☀️🍦

The children enjoyed a well-earned ice lolly in the shade after lots of active outdoor play. It was lovely to see everyone sitting together, chatting, and enjoying a refreshing treat on such a warm day. 😊

Days like these are all about making memories, developing friendships, and having fun while exploring the world around us. 🌳💛

EVENT: Come along to our Community Safety Open Day 🚨

With schools breaking up for the summer holidays very soon, if you're looking for things to do with the kids in August why not come along to our Community Safety Open Day, a joint event between us and South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue 👮🧑‍🚒

The event will include demonstrations from both us and the fire service, with both police and fire vehicles on display, which will all take place within a purpose-built fully interactive set (as seen in the image below) where educational inputs are delivered in a realistic setting.

There will be lots of activities, including uniform try-on, crafts, a treasure hunt and much more! 🚔 🚒 🖍️

This event is free to attend. Please note there will be no car parking on site on the day as the Lifewise Centre car park will be closed for the event.

☀️🌳 Park adventures at childminders! 🌳☀️

The children had a wonderful time exploring, climbing, crawling through tunnels, and enjoying the sunshine. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and opportunities to build confidence, coordination, and friendships through play.

We love getting outdoors and making the most of the beautiful weather while creating happy memories together. 💕😊

Why do we have a bouncy house at our childminding setting? 🏰✨

It's much more than just fun! A bouncy house provides children with opportunities to develop their gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and confidence through active play. It encourages children to be physically active while enjoying themselves, helping to support a healthy lifestyle from an early age.

Bouncing and moving together also promotes important social skills such as sharing, turn-taking, communication, and cooperation. Most importantly, it creates lots of smiles, laughter, and memorable experiences in a safe, supervised environment.

At our setting, we believe children learn best through play, and activities like this help support their physical, social, and emotional development every day. 💛
