Some of our Trinity Scholars enjoyed a visit to Barnsley Magistrates' Court last week, where they watched live court proceedings, saw defendants pleading guilty, and explored the diverse career opportunities within the legal profession.

If you would like your child to join us in September 2027, they will be required to sit the Fair Banding assessment (see our website for more details).
The deadline to register your child for our Fair Banding assessment is 9am on 21st September 2026. Parents should register their child for the assessment even if Trinity Academy St Edward's is your second or third choice of school. This is in case you do not get your first choice of school and would still like to be considered for a place at TASE.
If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Please register your child for the Fair Banding assessment using this link https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/wN8cDgjBcj

A wonderful way to finish off the year. The work of the school, and in particular our superb SEND team, has been formally recognised and we are now accredited with the ‘SEND Inclusion Award’.

This morning, our Year 9 Trinity Scholars took part in an engaging Learn with the Lords Q&A session, where they had the opportunity to question a member of the House of Lords about a wide range of topics. Their thoughtful questions covered current issues such as the social media ban, how laws are selected and passed through Parliament, and even whether England winning the final could result in an extra bank holiday. The session gave students a valuable insight into the work of the House of Lords and encouraged them to engage with politics and current affairs.

Due to the warm weather forecast tomorrow, we have made a few adjustments to the structure of Sports Day.
Year 7, 8 and 9 will still take part in Sports Day; however, this will now take place during the morning when temperatures are expected to be cooler. Students will then have lunch before returning to normal lessons at 1pm.
Y7, 8 and 9 students should arrive to school in their PE kit with water bottle and sun hat.
The Enterprise Day for Y10 will continue as planned and students should attend in full school uniform. However, students will not be required to wear a blazer.
