More ‘slow down’ than ‘throw down’, TPG is a friendly group of ceramics enthusiasts who meet in a Community Studio at The Hub, Barnard Castle. Tuition is offered in hand-building techniques and wheel-throwing and we are currently running 5 classes per week during term time. All people of all abilities are welcome to join us and enjoy the experience of creating with clay in a gentle, inclusive and peaceful environment.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to our collection party last Thursday!

It was so lovely to see so many of you in one place at the same time, chatting pottery, admiring everyone’s work and celebrating another term together. ❤️

Today is our last day of classes before our summer break. 🌞
Thank you to everyone who has joined us in the studio this term. We've loved seeing your creativity come to life.
Over the next few weeks, we'll be busy firing all of your beautiful pieces. We'll let you know as soon as they're ready for collection.
Have a wonderful summer, and keep an eye on our page for next term's classes, which will be available to book for new students soon. We can't wait to welcome everyone back after a well-deserved break, with fresh ideas and exciting new projects. 💛
