Final external job of the year in beautiful Romaldkirk. Myself snd Michael have been working on a lovely property while Cameron and Matthew are enjoying well deserved holidays. Michael Ramage also throughly enjoyed his jammy doughnuts and chippy lunch today. Matthew Walker also had his interview today at Official New College Durham and has signed up to attend the college from October as part of his apprenticeship which he starts with Trades4care in a couple of weeks. Another very busy week in the community. Firstly Cameron and Matthew carried out some external work for a elderly lady in Billy Row. While myself and Michael decorated a kitchen dinner and conservatory for his Nana. We finished the week with a small external job in Darlington for one of the amazing volunteers at St Teresa's Hospice.

Congratulations to our great mate. Owen originally came on work experience with us from Bishop Auckland College. He then gave up his free time on many occasions to help the team in the community. We then recommend him to our freinds at Raby County Durham . They as we did saw great potential in Owen and it's brilliant to see him doing so well in a job we all know he loves. Celebrating Owen’s Apprenticeship Success

A huge congratulations to Owen Wharton, who has successfully completed his Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship and has now become a permanent member of the Raby team.

Joining us in June 2023 at just 17, Owen has spent the past three years developing his skills, combining college learning at Bishop Auckland College with valuable hands-on experience across the estate.

We’re delighted that Owen has now joined the Buildings team as a permanent member of staff. His dedication, enthusiasm, attention to detail and strong work ethic have made him a valued member of the team, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for him.

Well done Owen.

Another glorious week in Teesdale working in the most stunning location. The team have been carrying out work for Raby Estates and their lovely tenants. This is the second time we've carried out work on this property and it was lovely for the team to here from the tenants that they had requested that our young team came back again after doing such a great job last time. Michael has also made a couple of new freinds this week in the new ferrets and as always thoroughly enjoyed his chippy lunch.

Another wonderful week in beautiful Teesdale back again working for a lovely couple Ann and Mick as part of our summer projects for Raby County Durham the cottage now looks stunning in the lovely summer sunshine. Mick has not been well of late having had a kidney out so the team moved and lifted everything as nothing is ever to much trouble and moved the precious plants from the front garden potted them while we had the ladders in the garden then we returned on completion. This was very much appreciated with many trays of treats and juice for all the team to enjoy and at the end of the project our team leader Michael Ramage received a lovely note of thanks which you will see has now pride of place in his beloved scrapbook.
