At Simply French Yorkshire, we help people to gain confidence speaking French, through 1-1 classes, couples, weekly groups, GCSE and A level tutoring.

Regular weekly groups and now also half day French and baking!

Today and yesterday have been "Journées européennes du patrimoine" in France organised by the ministère de la Culture. This is the French equivalent of our heritage days where the French are celebrating their fabulous history and culture. As some of us at Simply French Yorkshire are focussing on Dijon during this series of workshops, I'd like to mention an activity today in Dijon where people have been on a trail around old Dijon with the help of a mobile app called "Curieux détails". The aim of this activity is to see how many hidden animals you can find in the walls, roofs, stonework, on the ground and up high. Un parcours ludique sur application mobile - A fun trail on mobile app. I love Dijon and how we learn at Simply French Yorkshire is focussing on French culture as well as language . Bonjour

Just want to let you know that we are back learning face to face right now at Simply French Yorkshire! Youpi! New groups are starting tomorrow at Allerthorpe and I'm preparing for another open afternoon at Sand Hutton tomorrow. It's wonderful to be back with people again and the variety of activities we can do is huge. Thanks to you all for being such great learners and for supporting me in everything I do. Sand Hutton on Tuesday 14th 2-3.30 at Sand Hutton Village Hall. 2 groups hopefully. 3 days to go. This is a new area for Simply French Yorkshire workshops. Posters are up in Stamford Bridge and Sand Hutton and I'm so pleased to be coming to start classes. Please share this with all your friends. You can come along and find out what the weekly workshops are all about and have a slice of Tarte au citron. Learn a new language! It's so therapeutic and great for the brain. Count down day 5 to my French open afternoon in Sand Hutton Village Hall! Tues afternoon 14th Sept 2 - 3.30. Come along and celebrate Simply French Yorkshire weekly workshops starting in Sand Hutton from Tuesday 21st Sept. I'm very excited I can't wait!

Tomorrow is Newton! Un grand merci! Thank you to everybody for coming to Allerthorpe this morning either to get information about Simply French Yorkshire or to cheerlead for me and help out setting up and clearing away! So kind! I was so pleased and a new group has come out of it!

Still counting down!! Only 3 days to go! Come along to Allerthorpe Village Hall on Tuesday 7th Sept at any time between 10 and 11.30 or Newton on Derwent Chapel on Wed 8th Sept at any time between 10 and 11.30 to celebrate the launch of French workshops in these lovely villages. Learn some French, have a slice of homemade Tarte au Citron and see what the workshops are all about. Very exciting !
