THE 5-SECOND MATHS TRICK EVERY 11+ STUDENT NEEDS
Here's a strategy I teach in Week 1 that saves minutes on exam day:
For PERCENTAGES questions, use the "friendly fraction" method:
Instead of calculating 25% of 80 the long way...
Think: "25% = 1/4, so 1/4 of 80 = 20"
50% = 1/2
25% = 1/4
75% = 3/4
10% = 1/10
20% = 1/5
Instantly faster. Zero mistakes.
This one trick has helped dozens of my students finish Maths papers with time to spare.
