Shrek-tacular! 🌟💚
A huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making Shrek Jnr. such a memorable occasion. From the talented cast and crew to the scenery, props, lighting, sound and costumes, every detail helped create something truly special.
But what stood out most was watching our children shine. Across Years 5 and 6, we saw confidence, courage and joy on stage. We saw children growing in belief, supporting one another, taking brave steps outside their comfort zones and celebrating their individuality. Every quirky, creative and unique character added something wonderful to the production.
We are incredibly proud of what these young people have achieved and grateful to be part of a school community that encourages children to be themselves and give things their very best shot.
This was a true team effort, and one that our whole community can feel proud of. 🎭✨

Last night we came together to celebrate our wonderful Year 6 pupils as they prepare for the next exciting chapter of their journey. ✨
Our Sports Hall was transformed for a very special Leavers' Dinner, where children, parents and staff enjoyed an evening of delicious food, heartfelt speeches and award presentations, celebrating the unique achievements of every child.
We couldn't be prouder of everything this year group has accomplished. They leave Banstead Prep as confident, kind and well-rounded young people, ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges that await them at their senior schools.

Nursery had great fun making their own Father's Day scented potions!
The children explored a range of scents, mixed colours, and added natural resources such as leaves, grass and herbs to create unique gifts for their special people. Along the way, they developed their teamwork, communication, fine motor and mathematical skills through pouring, measuring and mixing.
We hope all our families enjoy celebrating the special people in their lives this Father's Day. 💙

Our Year 6 pupils recently showcased their incredible independent learning projects, exploring a wide range of topics from Astrology and Formula 1 to Business and Fashion.
After researching and creating presentations, they transformed their learning into exciting museum-style exhibits featuring Lego models, animations, graphs and even homemade fashion pieces!
The children demonstrated fantastic creativity, curiosity and confidence as they shared their knowledge with parents and the wider school community. We are incredibly proud of all they achieved and the life skills they developed along the way. 👏

Yesterday, we enjoyed a fantastic Move Up Morning across the school!
There was plenty of excitement as the children discovered who their teacher will be next year and which classmates they will be sharing their new classroom with. From Nursery right through to our new Year 6 pupils, everyone spent time getting to know their new class, taking part in fun team-building activities and building new friendships.
It was also a pleasure to welcome the children who will be joining our school community in September. We loved seeing them settle in, meet their new classmates and experience life at BPS.
