The children have been busy for Valentines Day.. they’ve used their kind hands and kind words.. ❤️

The children spoke and we listened… there was much talk last week about space, astronauts and rockets! So we decided to convert our play role area into a space ship. The book of the week is the brilliant Aliens Love Underpants! The children designed their own alien underpants and made space hats!

The children have been busy making their own Remembrance Day wreath using their handprints..

The children have had a fabulous week celebrating Diwali..

Another week wizzes by! We had great fun at the Banstead May Day Fayre parade!

This week we have been looking at Continents and have focused on Africa.

We have also celebrated VE Day where the children made a gigantic poppy and decorated their flags.

We are so lucky to have some great parents in the school and one parent in particular brought in his guitar and drums for the children at Circle Time.

One of our Team has just qualified as a Forest School Leader so we have now started taking a group of children out for Forest School sessions which has proved to be very popular.

Now that the weather is kinder, we have also started our trips to Banstead Manor Care Home; such an important time for both children and our 'grannies and grandads' and we so enjoy our visits.
