New Skateboard Park in Cobham!
I’ve been watching this being built weekly as I drive past and it looks to be quite impressive!
Opening on September 12th. Looks like a fun opening day is planned.

Free and low cost fun for the whole family at Egham Orbit!
They have a packed six week summer timetable which works on a two week rotation.
Today my son and I enjoyed badminton, pickle ball, basketball and table tennis - all for free! My new favourite sport is pickle ball and we will be back for more! 🥵
There is still just over a week of activities and you don’t have to be a member to enjoy them. We aren’t members and we could book a week in advance online.
Egham Orbit is one of my favourite local leisure centres. It’s always really clean, has great pools, a soft play, gym and a spa!

Not an ad, just sharing because I think it’s fab and my son and I had a brilliant (hot and sweaty!) afternoon enjoying pickle ball, badminton, basketball all for free. We took our own badminton equipment but weren’t charged for the padel’s, balls or basketballs. Maybe we were lucky but for £1 it’s still a bargain!

Ad - A good shout if you’ve still got a week of the holidays to fill. Love Cricket run a camp at Whiteley Village Cricket Club in Hersham for boys and girls aged 8–13, all abilities.
The coaching team is a professional Middlesex player and two ECB qualified coaches, and all three of them went to Love Cricket themselves as kids.
They’ve just finished their first week — parents have said their children have loved the camps. The last week is Tue 25 to Fri 28 August, 9am–3pm, £45 a day.
