Welcome to the Auchtergaven Primary School (APS) Parent Council page! We aim to keep you up to date with everything to do with the life of the nursery and school, including notifications of meetings, fundraising activities and local events. Please encourage other parents of children who attend APS to become our friend! As well as this page, we also have an email address at which

we can be contacted [email protected]. We use this address to circulate papers prior to meetings and other information relevant to the school/community, so please get in touch if you would like to receive these. We look forward to working with you all!

CORONATION PARK PLAY AREA RENOVATION

PKC has advised that work is due to start on the new play area in Coronation Park on Monday 24th August.

The work is expected to take 6-8 weeks to complete and will include work to improve the car park too.
As work progresses, there will of course be some disruption in and around the Coronation Park area and we'd like to thank everyone for their understanding and co-operation to get this long awaited work underway.

With a trampoline, picnic benches and new play equipment for both younger and older kids alike, it's exciting to see our tired village park getting the update it deserves. And yes, at the request of the children during the consultation process, the "Witches Hat" is not going anywhere!

We are hosting Emergency services day at Perth Fire Station on the 18th of July 2026 10:00 - 12:30

We will have our full range of appliances (rescue pumps, boat, aerial, heavy rescue) and additional heritage appliances, as well as a rescue dog.

Partners in attendance include Ambulance service - SORT, air.

Police Scotland - Armed response, divers, camera.

Coastguard, First Response.

We will also have classic cars, a food van providing bacon rolls, an ice cream van, coffee van.
