Yesterday was our last SU gathering of the year so we decided ice cream was definitely a must! 🍦☀️ This faithful tribe connected every Wednesday throughout lockdown via Google Classroom; what a treat it was to enjoy time together in the sunshine!

This little verse from Hebrews 10 (MSG paraphrase) really sums up our “weird and wonderful” journey through this year:

“So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on.”

But before this pandemic even existed god promised us that no matter what he would be with us. And when we don’t feel surrounded god is still surrounding us. God doesn’t social distance. Another line that really stands out to me is... ‘But the name that is Jesus, He who was and still is, and will be through it all’ God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He hasn’t changed. He’s the same god who raised the dead to life. He can do anything if we just have faith!"

Today at SU we had the privilege of having the lovely Rachel Tweedie from SUNI with us. Rachel encouraged us in what scripture teaches us about community! 🙏☺️

Hello everyone! Just a reminder that SU will be continuing as normal throughout this period of remote learning. We will continue to gather each week via Google Meet on Wednesday afternoons at 3.10pm! 😊 If there is anyone who hasn't joined the Google Classroom for SU yet and would like to, please contact Miss H Thompson for details. ⭐

Hello everyone! We are really excited to gather in the assembly hall tomorrow after school from 3.15-4.00pm. We will be following PHA guidance to make sure everyone is kept as safe as possible! We look forward to hearing from Glenn Johnston! Please let Miss Thompson (D104) know if you plan to attend.

While this year has looked a little different for us, we have really enjoyed meeting on Zoom! 😊 HOWEVER, we are so excited that next Wednesday we will have our monthly meet-up in the assembly hall from 3.15-4.00pm.
