โณ Staff Wellbeing 2026
Last week, our Sport Science staff took on the mini golf course at Oriel Mรดn in a fiercely contested competition (and some very dodgy poses)!
Thank you to Bangor Universityโs Wellbeing Fund for helping make this wellbeing activity possible.

โณ Llesiant Staff 2026
Yr wythnos diwethaf, aeth ein staff Gwyddor Chwaraeon ati i herio cwrs golff mini Oriel Mรดn mewn cystadleuaeth frwd (a rhai ystumiau amheus iawn)!
Diolch i Gronfa Llesiant Prifysgol Bangor am helpu i wneud y gweithgaredd llesiant hwn yn bosibl.

Eisteddfod yr Urdd Ynys Mรดn 2026
Am wythnos anhygoel (a chynnes iawn!) yn yr eisteddfod.
Yn ein stondin Gwyddor Chwaraeon, croesawyd plant ac oedolion i roi cynnig ymarferol ar ddysgu am y galon.
O fodelu sut mae'r galon yn gweithio, i archwilio sut mae gwaed yn llifo drwyddi, a darganfod sut mae ymarfer corff a diet yn cefnogi iechyd y galon. Cafodd ymwelwyr gyfle hefyd i gael eu pwysedd gwaed wedi'i wirio.
Diolch yn fawr iawn i bawb a gymerodd ran a'i wneud yn brofiad mor wych.
Cefnogwyd y gwaith hwn gan y Rhwydwaith Ymchwil Cardiofasgwlaidd Cenedlaethol, ac fe'i hariannwyd gan Sefydliad Prydeinig y Galon ac Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru.
Eisteddfod yr Urdd Ynys Mรดn 2026
What an incredible (and very warm!) week at the Eisteddfod.
At our Sport Science stand, we welcomed children and adults to get hands-on with learning about the heart.
From modelling how the heart works, to exploring how blood flows through it, and discovering how exercise and diet support heart health. Visitors also had the opportunity to have their blood pressure checked.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and made it such a brilliant experience.
This work was supported by the National Cardiovascular Research Network, and funded by the British Heart Foundation and Health and Care Research Wales.
