All our teachers and school staff are DBS checked volunteers from the local community.
Teachers hold Bachelor degrees and have experience in teaching students of varying levels of Chinese language. North Wales Chinese School offers classes in Kindergarten and Elementary school. Kindergarten is a two year program that emphasizes brush stokes and character recognition. Elementary school currently offers classes from the 1st grade to the 6th grade. Hundreds of Bangor University students attended a lecture by TV star, Steve Backshall Naturalist and explorer Steve Backshall gave a talk on wildlife conservation at Bangor University recently, after performing in his sell-out theatre show, Ocean, at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.
2 years ago today BBC Cymru came to visit us!!! Wow how time flies and we had the best time with Sam and Shauna ☺️

A very different but exciting day at the North Wales Chinese School.
Inspector Trystan and Sergeant Arwyl visited the children and introduced themselves amongst the Chinese community in Bangor.
They spoke to us about diversity within the police force and hate crime. They also showed us their uniform and equipment and ended with Q&A!!!
