Summer is teasing us with this sunshine, and that means... it is time to take the paint, the splatters, and the arty chaos outdoors! 🌿✨

As usual this summer we are packing up our paint and j***y art supplies and heading out into the beautiful green spaces in and around

Every year, ( this is summer number 13!) I get to see first hand the magic of letting our little artists connect with nature, feeling the grass ( & paint) between their toes while they create.
They have total freedom — we can let them follow their own instincts, explore colour , and make their mark on the world.

We have to give a shout-out to the local parks team Ards and North Down Borough Council for being absolute legends and letting us use these stunning spots. We are so lucky to have these gorgeous spaces right on our doorstep, and we can’t to fill them with a whole lot of color! 🙌🌸

The weather is warming up (fingers crossed!) and we are getting ready to take Messy Mornings out and about

Our Summer plans are ready and we have 6 weeks of creative fun for you and your little artists. We're talking paint, rocks, rainbows, and giant sheets of paper under the open sky.
We provide the materials, the inspiration, and the gorgeous local backdrops. You just turn up, get stuck in, and make memories.

Here is a sneak peek at what our wee messers will be up to over the holidays:
👾 **Monster Making at Sea-Park:** Big, silly, sensory building.
🐦 **Wee Birds at Ward Park Band Stand:** Nature-inspired textures and messy fun.
🚀🌈 **Rockets & Rainbows at the Walled Garden:** A explosion of bright colors and high-energy mark making.
🪨🎨 **Rock Painting at Skipperstone Beach:** Connecting with our local places and leaving our creative marks.

What is Messy Mornings?
At Messy Mornings, we encourage our little messers to lead us on a journey of colour and creativity.
We are not scared to get the paint out and let it flow!
In our sessions, children and their families explore art together, using different mediums and techniques to make their mark on the world in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

The "Why" Behind the Mess
Messy Mornings was inspired by the simple, powerful idea that all children are artists and that creativity is a language all of its own.
In a world that can feel restrictive, we've created a space that nurtures "alternative thinking" and celebrates every child's unique way of expressing their brilliant ideas.

What to Expect:
Freedom to Explore: We provide the inspiration and materials, but we love to see our wee messers follow their own creative instincts.

Family Fun: We love seeing parents and caregivers get stuck in and create alongside their little ones.

Process Over Product: The goal isn't a perfect masterpiece; it's the joy and development found in the creative journey.

The Best Part: We handle ALL of the clean-up, so you can focus on having fun.

Who is it for?
Our core "Messy Mornings" sessions are designed for children aged 0-5 and their accompanying adults.
We can't wait to see you and your little artist for some creative, messy fun!

We know as parents that life just gets messy !

"Mad May" came a little early for me this year and life got a little too messy, even for me.
I have taken some unexpected time off and remembering the biggest( and original) messer in my life.
I’m taking May to find my creative feet again, but I can’t wait to see all my fellow 'wee messers' in June.
