What a truly special final day at the Bangor Speech Festival ⭐️🏆

This week has been about so much more than awards. It has been about children finding their voice, stepping onto a stage with courage, and believing maybe for the very first time — “I can do this.”

Thank you to all the parents, families, and school staff who came to support — it means so much. 😌

We are incredibly proud of our pupils from Grange Park Primary School, Ballymagee Primary School & Nursery Unit, and St Comgall’s Primary School. Seeing so many children take that brave step and truly stand out has been so wonderful.

As Patricia Milligan reminded us, what matters most is that every child leaves feeling proud and believing in themselves — and they really did.

Well done to every single child who took part. You are so special, and we are so proud of you!💛✨

Bangor Speech Festival 2026 done! ✅

A humungous well done to each and every child who took part in this years Festival. You should be very, very proud of yourselves - as we are of you ALL.

Another humungous thanks to every mum, dad, granny, grandad, brother, sister, aunty, uncle, friend, neighbour and teacher who came along to support the children - it makes such a difference to have an audience to perform to, and even better when it’s friendly faces.

Lastly a big thanks to our adjudicator Patricia Mulligan for your wonderful guidance and constructive feedback - so useful for the children to carry forward.

We hope to see you all back next year for Bangor Speech Festival’s 80th year! Standby for exciting information on how we plan to mark this amazing achievement ❤️
