This month in Smarties, we are talking about sea animals and the importance of protecting our oceans. The children worked together to create our lovely sea display by making and painting a pirate ship and a variety of sea creatures. They also made props and dressed up as pirates, while having fun fishing rubbish out of our ocean and learning how we can help keep our seas clean. 🌊🐬🐡🐳⚓️🏴‍☠️☠️🗑️

Beehive’s daily experiment - learning what floats and what sinks 🤔

The children in Smarties had fun walking the plank, while helping and encouraging each other. This activity helped them develop communication, balance, coordination, confidence, and problem-solving skills while learning the importance of supporting their friends.

From Monday, we will be fully trialling our new digital system Tapestry. My nursery pal is still active but we will be trying not to use during this soft launch. This will allow us to work on any Kinks that may occur while still having a back up.
