💙💚🔔 What a fantastic day Year 5 had exploring the fascinating history of Bangor! The children visited Bangor Abbey, where they learned about the Abbey’s important role in the history of the town and discovered more about life in Bangor throughout the years.

It was wonderful to see the children so engaged, asking questions and showing such enthusiasm as they brought their history learning to life. A brilliant day of exploring, discovering and learning outside the classroom!🌟

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the trip such a memorable experience for our Year 5 pupils!

Y5S have had a fantastic start to the
year, spending the last few weeks getting to know one another and building new friendships. They have enjoyed playing lots of fun games together, creating their very own ‘Me Collages’ to share their interests and personalities. They also had a wonderful time toasting marshmallows around the fire pit.

Y1C have been exploring 2D shapes in the Eco
garden and as detectives they found triangles,
squares, circles and rectangles in the natural
environment. Super work Year 1!

Today, we took some time out of our transformED training to recognise some of the true heroes of our school as part of National Teaching Assistant Day.

These wonderful people (including those missing from the photos) are the backbone of our school and go above and beyond every day to support, encourage and care for our pupils.

Quite simply, our school would not function without them.Thank you for everything you do. We appreciate you all.

Reminder: School is closed on Friday for staff training.

💙💚📚 Year 6 enjoyed a fun, informative and interactive W5 Belfast workshop at Bangor Carnegie Library today!

The children explored the fascinating world of animals, learning about how different animals hunt for food and the clever ways in which prey animals avoid being hunted. There were lots of opportunities to get involved, think like animals and discover some amazing facts along the way!
