Petition: Improve funding, pay & professional recognition for the Early Years workforce Increase government funding of Early Years settings, and introduce national frameworks related to pay, career progression and professional recognition to ensure greater alignment with educators and teachers in wider educational settings.

Closure due to adverse weather:

Due to the amber weather warning for strong winds and heavy rain, we have made the decision to close tomorrow (Tuesday 27th January) in the interest of everyone’s safety.

Our setting is surrounded by old, unstable trees, and with the forecast conditions there is a significant risk of falling debris, including from nearby garages and structures. In addition, our front door becomes extremely difficult and unsafe to keep open during high winds, and we have been struggling with this throughout the day today. This presents a further safety risk for children, families, and staff entering and exiting the building.

For these reasons, we do not feel it would be safe to open tomorrow.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. The safety of everyone is always our top priority.
