School trip at Bangor Academy

London Day 3. I think we saved the best to the last full day. Shopping on Oxford Street, the Twist Museum (optical illusions), Warner Brothers Studios - The Making of Harry Potter, Bella Italia for dinner and we finished the day off with a visit to the M&M store. A fabulous few days in London with a group of fabulous kids.

London day 2 and what a day it was. It was a hot one 🔥. Natural History Museum to see Hope (the blue whale), walking tour of London, Pizza Hut for dinner and then a fabulous performance of The Lion King….what a show 🦁. To top it all off, a lost bag delivered. What more could you ask for. It may all seem like hard work but can you find the photo of the staff having a well deserved rest?

London Day 1. Early flight and a bus into the capital and we were there, eventually. First stop was the Tower of London then a river cruise down to the London Eye. Finished the day off in the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Back to the hotel for a well deserved rest.

Smiles all around as our students enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Alton Towers and Manchester!

Day 2: Metro, Pompidou area, Museum of the Middle Ages and some free time! Feet are walked off, but tummies are full of French yummy food.

Day One: monuments of Paris

Paris 2026 has got off to a cracking start with lots of activities today.
Students appreciated the Musée d’Orsay, seeing famous Impressionist works up close.
A cruise on the River Seine showed us the stunning buildings we had already admired on our sightseeing tour. Lovely dinner and later, tired wee people looking forward to more surprises tomorrow. Hope the weather picks up!

Parent Evening for pupils going to see the highlights of the City of Light, in early May.
7pm in Assembly Hall on Tuesday 24th March.
