They did it!!
Day 4 - the most challenging of days in so many ways! Exhausted after three days of physically and mentally challenging ascents and descents, this amazing team of girls faced over 1000m of steep ascent followed by a similar descent over a 20km distance with grit and determination that made all the staff so unbelievable proud of what they have achieved.
They were met by rapturous applause as they finished their expedition by walking into base camp 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Day three in Switzerland. The gold DoE girls started with a long ascent to eventually enjoy lunch at nearly 2000m. A tricky descent to the wild camp site ended the day with the girls ready for an early night! Roll on day four - final day!

Day two in Switzerland and this incredible team of girls is making a very difficult challenge look like a walk in the park!

While some of us put our feet up for the summer, others embark on the challenge of a lifetime!
Day one of the Gold DofE expedition in the Alps started in Italy and ended in Switzerland! The girls smashed it! A great team, in great spirits, taking on a great challenge. Four days along the TMB.

It was a joy to celebrate the sporting successes and achievements of many of the girls who demonstrated excellence, commitment, contribution and caring in a wide range of sports.
