🎄 Wishing all of our students, parents, and friends a very Happy Christmas.

It’s been a busy and rewarding year, and we’re incredibly proud of the progress so many students have made on their musical journeys. Seeing confidence grow, skills develop, and musicianship flourish has been a real highlight.

Our focus remains on providing the best possible tuition, helping students become confident musicians, and giving them the skills and experience to progress , including the opportunity to become jobbing musicians where that’s their goal.

The teaching studio is now closed until 5th January, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back and hitting the ground running in 2026 🎶✨

💥 We’re especially proud to see our students out there smashing the music industry — Fusion (Regent House) are playing a sold-out show in Belfast tomorrow alongside Line 512. Incredible work, folks!

⭐️It’s been a great summer so far with a few weeks left before normal term timetables resume⭐️

We have loved meeting and teaching all of the new pupils this summer and we hope to get everyone timetabled in September.

We had FUSION, the senior rock group from Regent House perform at the family friendly music festival ‘Kidcella’ at the weekend and they played brilliantly.

We are very much looking forward to getting back to normal lessons and to all the music departments!

☀️Today is Mikes last day of teaching for a week as he heads on holiday tomorrow, but Jack’s lessons will continue as normal and he will be in touch to book you in! ☀️

⭐️The end of term is approaching and we have had a great academic year⭐️

From having pupils perform on stages around the country, to a great run of Carol Services and Spring concerts, to performing with Ricky Warwick, reaching grades from 1 to diploma and some getting paid work as musicians in their own right!

It’s been a great one and we have a few more exams to run before our final concert next Friday at Studio 1A in Bangor.

We also have students from local schools performing at the Donaghadee Regatta on Saturday 28th June

We don’t just teach music, we help students live and breathe it!

⭐️We have been providing high quality lessons and guidance for TWO DECADES! Since starting, the vision was to not just teach music, but to create musicians!⭐️

20 years on and we are still helping budding musicians reach their goals and in many cases, turning their talents in to careers!

We are proud to work with so many fantastic pupils and we will have our yearly showcase on FRIDAY 27th JUNE 2025 at STUDIO 1a THEATRE in Bangor.

This event will feature soloists, bands and singer/songwriters that we proudly work with in honing their craft!

Unfortunately it’s not possible to include ALL students in one concert as it would last until Christmas, but we will endeavour to get everyone on a stage by the end of 2025!

🌟 Special shoutout to our Musician of the Year – Daisy Blair! 🌟
Daisy has truly broken boundaries this year, shining both on stage and in lessons with her talent, attitude, and commitment. We’re incredibly proud of her journey and can’t wait to see what she does next! 🎸✨

🎵 Lessons will continue as normal until the end of June, after which there’ll be a few timetable tweaks and minor disruptions due to summer holiday plans – we’ll keep you posted with plenty of notice.

⭐️We run a musician of the year each year, and this award goes to someone who achieves outstanding excellence, continuous development, flawless performances and dedication to their instrument⭐️

This year the 24/25 award goes to Daisy Blair who has gone from strength to strength and became a hugely proficient guitarist, both in solo and group performances.

Along with a certificate, the winner receives a few other bits and bobs to remember a great achievement.

Well done Daisy!

Another Monday kicks off after another busy week!

Lessons in full swing and rehearsals for Spring Concerts are ramping up!

We had a great practice with the one and only Ricky Warwick (Thin Lizzy, The Almighty, Black Star Riders) on Friday and we are working towards a huge school concert at the Ulster Hall at the end of the month.

Today it's Glenlola before Bangor Academy tomorrow followed by a rehearsal with Bangor Academy's fantastic rock group!

Lessons are running Monday to Saturday.

⭐We hope everyone had a fantastic half term break. It's time to get those instruments tuned up and get ready for a busy term of learning and performing⭐

We now enter one of the busiest times of the year with spring concerts on the horizon as well as plenty of student performances and lessons running 8.30am - 8.30pm daily (except Saturday 9.30am - 1pm)

We are continuing our online composition courses to ensure everyone is up-to-date with their GCSE and A-Level work which is also available for composition in general.

⭐👍REGENT HOUSE PARENTS⭐⭐
We have a fundraising concert featuring the now famous 'Second Avenue' on both Junior and Senior lunch this coming Friday. Tickets are ONLY £1.

Money raised from this event will go towards buying new equipment for the department to be used in lessons and for our rock groups.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone again.

⭐A busy week of music. Lessons, rehearsals, workshops and remote learning⭐

We come to the end of the first half of the spring term and it's been a blast so far!

It's been great seeing everyone so enthusiastic about upcoming grading, upcoming shows and putting the work in to take that next step up the musical ladder.

Jack is in the studio tomorrow running the show and then we will take a half term break to recharge and re-tune!

The second half of the term is bringing some very exciting events and collaborations!

⭐ It's been a great start to the new term with plenty of lessons, workshops and performances ⭐

We have a busy term with the final open nights happening this week (Hugely successful first night at BASFC, all the musicians nailed it) and school Spring concerts on the horizon.

We are hoping to organise a concert for our students and bands before Easter so we will be in touch about that 🎶

Some of our bands and students are EXTREMELY excited to be getting to play with a very special guest this year who is flying all the over from LA so join them in stage. You'll find out more on this when I have permission to share it!
