fter completing a BA degree and a post graduate diploma in Education, I established, co-owned and managed both a tutoring centre and later an assisted learning school. Further studies included both Remedial and Life Coaching certifications. I've completed a basic tutoring course in AQE/GL preparation, with additional independent research. I've also completed a TEFL qualification, with additional certification in online tuition and teaching business English. I aim to empower children to reach their full academic potential, boosting their confidence and self-esteem. I focus on filling in gaps in learning, reteaching and reinforcing concepts to ensure the building blocks are solid for further academic understanding. I like to encourage children through positive reinforcement and praise. Tutoring is so valuable as it provides a wonderful opportunity to build a relationship with a child, where they feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, learn from these and to grow in confidence. I am dedicated and passionate about making a difference in a child's life.
