We are on the lookout for a few very jolly men to help Mr C make this Christmas at Streamvale extra special!

Essential Criteria = Chatty, Engaging and Jolly.

Non-Desirable = Grumpy, Shy or Miserable.

No previous experience required. Full training will be provided from Mr C himself!

Our event will run from 27th November to 24th December, with full time hours and flexible casual hours available.

🎬 Train the Trainer Programme – Expressions of Interest Now Open

Northern Ireland Screen, supported by BFI is inviting screen industry professionals to apply for a practical two-day Train the Trainer Programme.

Develop your training, facilitation and presentation skills, and gain the tools and confidence to design and deliver engaging and impactful training within the screen sector.

📅 14 & 15 December 2026
📍 Belfast City Centre – venue TBC

The programme will cover planning and structuring training sessions, effective communication and presentation, facilitating group learning, managing engagement, and delivering training with confidence.

Two local mums, Mary Lunn and Theresa Poskitt, are heading to Queen’s University Belfast this September after completing SERC’s Level 3 Access Diploma in Foundation Studies.

Mary, mum of two, is starting a BSc in Adult Nursing and Theresa, also a mum of two, is beginning a BSc in Midwifery.

Both say the supportive tutors, flexible approach for family life, and for Theresa, the brilliant Little SERC creche made all the difference.

Their message? “Just do it for yourself and see where you can go.” No one cares what you’ve done before — this is your fresh start.

The Bog Run is back! Volunteer with Cancer Fund for Children at their 10th and final Bog Run and raise vital funds to ensure no child has to face cancer alone.
